Mama Earth Nourishing Body Lotion for Mama Review

Hello everyone,

Of all the gifts that life has to offer, a loving mother is the greatest of them all. A mother’s love for child is like nothing else in the world. It knows no law, no bounds; it dares all things and crushes down remorselessly all that stands in its path. Mother’s love is the fuel that keeps us going. They say that motherhood is one of the hardest jobs in the entire world, and it's totally true. Being a mother is a roller coaster of ups and downs.

On the occasion of Mother’s Day, MamaEarth has come up with a new “For Mama” range and to celebrate the importance and profoundness of motherhood, they are spreading love with these beautiful hampers. I received 3 amazing products from them and the two mommies in the house couldn’t be happy enough.

Today, I’ll be reviewing the nourishing body lotion for you all. The new mommy in the house has been using this rigorously and to tell the truth, I have been using it as well :D

What MamaEarth says:-

Packaging:-
The product comes in a sturdy bottle with pump dispenser and dual cap. I love pump dispensers as it is very convenient to use, totally allowing me the control of how much product I want and there is no fear of contamination.

Product Description:-
The lotion is white in color and the consistency is on the thicker side. It has an amazing fragrance and absorbs wonderfully into the skin.

Performance:-

How it fared on the mother of my 6 months old niece:-

She has oily skin, but after pregnancy her skin had become very rough, itchy and flaky. This moisturizes and nourishes her skin and keeps it hydrated for a really long period of time. This soothes her itchy skin, doesn’t break her out or cause any irritations. She loves it J

How it fared on the non-mom me:- ( Did I say non-mom? My fur babies won’t be counted?? (Pretty Please!! L )

There are seldom any products that can keep my skin moisturized for an entire day. I apply this before going to office early in the morning (actually dawn would be the right word) and it keeps my skin moisturized for about 6 hours, which is pretty good. Please note that I have dry skin and have to stay inside AC rooms for almost the entire day. When at home, it keeps my skin hydrated and scratch-proof for a longer amount of time. I reapply it before going to bed, not because my skin craves for moisture, but just because I love the feel of it.

• Keeps skin hydrated for hours.
• Skin feels smooth, soft and supple.
• Instantly cures dry patches.
• Non greasy.
• Fast absorbing.
• Nice fragrance.
• Free of Paraben , Sulfates , SLS , Mineral Oil, Phthalate
• Hypoallergenic.
• Affordable.
• Easily available online.
• Pump dispenser for ease of use.

What I Don’t LIKE about Mama Earth Nourishing Body Lotion for Mama:-

• Some may find the bottle a little bulky to travel with.

Final Thoughts (Repurchase/ Recommendations):-
This deeply moisturizes skin without feeling greasy. It makes skin soft and supple and keeps it scratch-free for hours.  It works well on almost all skin types. Mamas, old or new, and the big girls of mamas (like me :P ) , this is for you all and you are going to love it. Give it a try. J I am getting another one soon …
