Lakme Absolute Drama Stylist Shadow Duos – Pink Wink- Review, Swatches, EOTD, FOTD

I was not very fond of pink eye shadows, until "Pink Wink" eye shadow duo happened. Yes, I have always been a smoky eye look lover. Dark eye makeup fascinates me and I never exactly thought of applying pink eye shadows on my lid.

I got this eye shadow duo as a "Raksha-bandhan" gift. So let us go through the review and see how it looks on me...

Lakme says:-

HOW TO APPLY:-

Step 1: Choose your eye shadow shade from the 4 trendy duos available

Step 2: Apply the lighter shade as a base on your lid with the applicator

Step 3: Apply the dark shade above it

Accentuate the look with applying Absolute Kohl Ultimate Kajal

Packaging:-

The blush comes in a simple round pan packaging with a clear flip open lid. The outer packaging housing the compact had a small applicator brush. The actual blush compact has no space to store this tiny brush so high chances that I would might it soon. The plastic casing further comes housed in a black rectangular box.

Shades:-

The eye shadow has a pretty duo of pink and a plum color which has burgundy undertone . Both the eye shadows have finely milled shimmers. The simmers are not at all OTT and add a gorgeous sheen when applied on lids. Very wearable shades... 

Texture:-The shadow has smooth satiny texture which adds a beautiful sheen when applied on lids. The color does not feel chalky and there is no fall out at all. It is easy to apply and blends well with other shades too.

Pigmentation:-Well pigmented. It shows even without a primer. Very rich and one swipe gives a pretty flush of color on eyes. The shade is buildable and thus can be intensified as per choice.

Staying Power:-

It stays for around 5 hours on me. However, a primer underneath can make it last longer.

• Pretty Colors.
• The shimmers in the eye shadows are subtle.
• Velvety smooth texture
• Superior blendability
• Well pigmented.
• Can be used both wet and dry.
• Good staying power.
• Decent Packaging.

What i don't like about Lakme Absolute Drama Stylist Shadow Duos – Pink Wink:-

• The price. 
• Not a fan of sponge applicators.

Final Thoughts:-

I love this shades, pretty pink and plum that make eyes pop. Pretty colors, blends well, decent color payoff and lasting power. But frankly speaking, I would never spend so much on an eye shadow duo. 

And this is how it looks on me...(Aaa....Whats wrong with the light.. :/ )
