Colourful Spring Makeup

Hey beauties,

Spring is here in full bloom and I seriously don’t want it to end. Yeah..!! I like summers, but only for shorts, dresses, maxis, flip flops and definitely not for the hot, sultry Kolkata weather. But as you know if spring comes, can summers be far behind? (Sorry P.B. Shelly for playing around with your words).
Anyway, Spring is the time to experiment with colors and so I tried this fun and colorful spring makeup. It is pretty easy to do and you can play around with colors of your choice.

So let us dive into our color pallets before it gets too
hot and makeup becomes a messy affair...

Base:-
My foundation is Sephora brightening and hydrating foundation. Apply a good concealer under the eyes, preferably couple of shades lighter than your actual your skin tone. It is very important to have a bright under eye area for any eye look to work.

Eyes:-
Make sure you have an even and smooth base. Apply an eye primer so that the eye shadows can be applied in a smooth, even layer, and so that it will stay in place on the eyelid… I have used Urban Decay eye shadow Potion.
I applied a fuchsia colored eye shadow on my inner corners, an orangey red on the centre of my lids and navy blue on the outer corners. I took a clean brush and blended any harsh lines in between the colors. I further blended the colors with a satiny peach colored eye shadow on the crease area. Finally on brow bone I applied a pale, shimmered golden colored eye shadow. I took my Maybelline liquid liner and draw a thick line on my upper lash line finally winging it out. I applied Maybelline Colossal kajal and then took some dark green on my brush and started smudging the kajal with it. I have completed my eye makeup with the L’Oreal Butterfly mascara. All the eye shadows are from Coastal Scents 258 eye shadow pallet.

Lips:-
Just MAC lip glass C-THRU. You can apply any subtle colored lipstick/ lip gloss of your choice.

Cheeks:-
I applied NYX Mocha. You can apply any soft natural colored blush on your cheeks. I used Benefit Highbeam on my cheekbones and nose-bridge.
