Hello
everyone,
Today I am
here with the review of a very talked about eye shadow pallet from the house of
Morphe; the 35F - FALL INTO FROST PALETTE.
Morphe launched this
pallet sometime in June last year. I ordered the pallet from an instagram
seller; I was so excited and was waiting for it eagerly. The seller, he kept me
waiting for about 2 months before finally sending me a broken pallet. Yes, it
was shattered and so was my heart after seeing it. Anyway, I was sceptical
about uploading the pictures and review of a broken pallet, and that’s why it
took me so long. I am uploading the review of a fall pallet almost at the end
of fall.
Traces of
the broken eye shadow are still there and so I am here with the review and
swatches of MORPHE 35F - FALL INTO FROST EYE SHADOW PALETTE.
Is this the
best eye shadow palette ever? Like people claim?? Is it really worth your money
and time? Lets see…
Morphe says:-
Featuring 7 highly pigmented matte shades and 28 rich metallic colors, this is
the palette your will reach for to wake up your looks with a touch of
eye-catching shimmer. The 7 matte colors offer necessary neutrals from flesh
toned to black that ensure an effortless, well-blended look every time.
Packaging:-
The 35 eye shadows
come housed within a large, sleek, non-fussy black palette. The palette further
comes inside a black box where the ingredients and pallet name is mentioned on
the back.
Shades:-
The palette consists
of 35 shades, 28 frosty and 7 matte shades.
The first
row mainly consists of highlighting shade. Silver, champagne, iced gold to pale
gold and pale copper.
The second
row mainly consists of smoky shades along with muted copper, berry, blackish
green, plum and dark steel.
The third
row is my most favourite. From fiery copper, yummy shades of cranberry to a beautiful
taupe and gorgeous plum, this row is gorgeous.
The fourth
row is my second favorite. Consisting of copper, golds, purple and bronze this
row is drooling.
The last row
consists of matte eye shadows in shades of peach, browns and black. Great as
transition colors or warming up the outer corner.
Texture, Color Payoff and Staying Power:-
It is one of
the best eye shadow pallets I have when it comes to texture, color payoff and
staying power. All of the eye shadows are smooth and blends like dream. The
metallic shades are gorgeous and doesn’t feel gritty or chunky, they are finely
milled, tightly packed and doesn’t fall out. The matte shades are soft and
smooth as well and doesn’t feel powdery or chalky. The eye shadows are
incredibly pigmented. See the hand swatches; I just barely dipped into the eye
shadows. The shadows stayed on me for more than 10 hours without fading or
creasing a bit. Yes, these are this pigmented and such long staying even with
any primer underneath.
SUMMING up my LIKES and DISLIKES:-
What I LIKED about MORPHE 35F - FALL INTO FROST EYE SHADOW PALETTE:-
- Gorgeous
shades.
- Soft and
Smooth texture.
- The metallic
ones are finely milled and don’t feel gritty.
- The matte
ones are not chalky.
- Incredibly
pigmented.
- Stays long.
- Don’t fade
or crease.
- No fuss
packaging.
- Big, but
sleek palette, so won’t take a lot of room when travelling with it.
What I Don’t LIKE about MORPHE 35F - FALL INTO FROST EYE SHADOW
PALETTE:-
- Non-availability
in India. Why?? Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy? L
- I wish there
was a mirror inside.
FINAL THOUGHTS:-
Yes, yes... It is one of the best eye shadow pallets I have used. The pallet has
a wide range of colors as you can see, from champagne, bronze, golds, copper to
taupe, grey, purple and cranberry; from peaches and brown to burnt orange and
black. So you can make a colourful look as well as a subdued, subtle look. Most
of the shades are fall appropriate, but I see myself reaching to this palette in
spring and summers as well. This pallet is great for any skin tone, whether you
are fair, tanned, medium or deep skin toned, all of these colors will look beautiful
on every single person.
Ohh!! Another
thing which I did, I used shades from the top row to highlight my cheekbone and
shades from the bottom row to contour, and trust me the result was amazing. :P
I definitely
recommend that you pick up this Morphe 35 F Fall into Frost pallet. I am
sure you will not be disappointed. People are raving about this pallet and it
is worth the investment. I am very happy with mine :D
