VLCC Lovable Lips Cherry Lip Balm Review and Swatches
“A cherry-flavored, tinted lip balm infused with the goodness of Jojoba Oil that dresses and caresses your pout in one sweep to make it luscious, lovely and lovable. Pronounced as ho-ho-ba, jojoba oil is one of the richest natural conditioners that the tropical forests have to offer. It has numerous beauty benefits and is perhaps the best known plant-based lip hydrator and soother. Jojoba oil, which is chemically similar to skin’s natural oil, heals chapped lips and seeps in to restore moisture and texture from within smooth, supple lips. VLCC has whisked together the benefits of this vitamin E-rich oil with nourishing almond oil and SPF to create this range of delectable sun-safe, pout perfectors in 6 pretty hues.”
The lip balm comes in regular twist up plastic packaging. The white and red colored packaging looks extra pretty and eye catching. The outer cardboard pack has all the essential details. The thing I like most about the packaging is that the Exp date is also mentioned on the tube.
- Adds a natural looking tint on lips.
- Hydrates the lips to an extent.
- Soft and smooth texture.
- Glides easily.
- Doesn’t feel tacky or heavy on lips.
- With SPF 15.
- Pleasing fragrance.
- Enriched with Shea butter and unique ingredients that make your lips soft and supple.
- Cute and catchy packaging.
- Affordable.
- Easily available.
- Like the fact that the expiry date is mentioned on the lip balm bullet and not only on the outer carton.
- People looking for intense moisturisation may not like this.
- The bullet is so soft, it might break in summers.
- Full list of ingredients not mentioned.
This is not the first time I am using a VLCC lip balm. I have used one from their daily protect range. It felt so gloopy and went streaky on lips. But I am pretty happy with this one and wouldn’t mind repurchasing. I love lip balms that are tinted and are light and non-greasy and this one is one of such lip balms. One of the most affordable lip balms in the market, you can surely give this a shot.
