Hello
everyone,
Probably we
all know how important it is to remove our makeup at the end of the day. Whether
it is just a stroke of kajal or just a hint of lip gloss; you have to remove
every traces of makeup before hitting the sack. I have always trusted baby oil
or coconut oil for removing my makeup. I have dry skin and nothing makes my
skin happy other than a good massage of oil at the end of the day. Removing my
makeup and moisturising skin together is totally fun J
I came
across this product two years back. First I scoffed at the idea of spending
money on water, but the curious part of me kept on poking and finally I got my
first bottle of Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water.
People are
going gaga over these Micellar waters. So does this product live up to its
hype? Lets see…
A cleansing and make-up removing water that respects the fragility of sensitive
skin.
- Combines
performance and very high tolerance
- Cleanses and
removes make-up from the face and eyes
- Soothes and
clears up irritated skin
- Produces a
feeling of instant freshness
- Non-rinse
Price:-
540 INR for 100ML
945 INR for 250ML
They come in two kind of 500ML bottles; one is flip top and the other one is
with a push back dispenser, but I am not too sure of their prices.
Packaging:-
The product comes in a clear plastic bottle with a pink flip open cap. The
product as you can see is a clear water-like solution.
My Experience with Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water:-
This is my
third bottle and I am kind of obsessed with this now. I love how it is super
gentle on my dry, sometimes sensitive skin. Normally a normal make up remover
irritates my cheeks and sting my eyes; but this one fulfils it’s job of
removing make up and dirt without irritating my skin or stinging my eyes. I
soak a cotton pad and press onto the eyelids first to loosen my mascara,
eyeliner and then press and wipe to remove. It removes every traces of my
makeup and leaves no residue. But it would take a little more effort on
waterproof mascaras. I love that fact that it doesn’t leave my skin dry and is
also non-scented. It leaves my skin feeling clean, fresh, lovely, calm and
cool; exactly how I want my skin to feel at the end of the day. So
refreshing..!!
Quickly summing up my LIKES and DISLIKES:-
What I LIKE about Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water:-
- Removes makeup
and cleans off dirt effectively.
- Removes
waterproof mascara and liners as well.
- Great for quick, non-greasy fixes.
- Gentle
formula.
- Ultra mild
on skin.
- Doesn’t dry
out skin drying
- Doesn’t
irritate skin
- Doesn’t
sting eyes,
- Leaves skin
feeling smooth and clean.
- Produces a feeling
of instant freshness.
- Fragrance
free formula.
- Alcohol free.
- Paraben
free.
- High on ph
formula maintains skin natural moisture level.
- No need to rinse
your face after using this.
- Easy to use
dispenser.
- Sturdy
packaging.
- Easily
available.
What I don’t Like about Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water:-
- Some may
find it pricey.
- Takes time
and effort to remove stubborn waterproof makeup, especially waterproof mascaras.
So not for people who swear by waterproof products and are looking for super
quick methods of removing them.
FINAL THOUGHTS (Repurchase and Recommendations?)
This one is a very
mild, fragrance-free micellar solution that cleanses impurities and removes
make-up while respecting my skin's natural balance. I love it. I am on my third
bottle and I can see myself buying again. This is my HOLY WATER J
I would recommend this to anyone who is bored of using harsh facial cleansers.
I would recommend this to anyone who wants gentle cleansing and looking for
something soap-free, fragrance-free, alcohol-free and hypoallergenic with a non
rinse formula.
