MAC Amplified Cream lipstick Impassioned Review, Swatches, LOTD

People fall in love with people they can’t have and I fall in love with a MAC lipstick I can’t have. Yes, because it will remain OOS like forever. Seriously..!! This is the thing I hate most about MAC. I was crushing on this lipstick since time immemorial; and it was OOS since time immemorial as well. But thanks to my friend, I finally have this in my kitty now.

So let us see if this MAC lipstick is actually worth the wait or not…

Packaging:-

The lipstick comes in a glossy black bullet case, with shade name and number at the base. The bullet comes in a black box, and ingredient list, price are mentioned on it.

Shade:-
It is an almost neon-y, bright coral pink color. It is kind of a hybrid colour of pink, red, coral and even a bit of orange. I was afraid that it might wash me out, but luckily it didn’t; and I guess would look superb on Indian skin tones. You can wear it as bold and bright and can also tone the color down by blotting it.

Texture:-
It belongs to MAC’s "Amplified Cream" range and goes creamy and opaque. It helps to glide on thick and creamy without streaking for that beautiful, smooth finish. It never feels drying and keeps lips perfectly soft without settling on fine lines or highlighting patches.

Color Payoff:-
Pigmentation is incredible. One swipe and you are done.

Staying power:-
Despite being a creamy lipstick, it stays on for a really long time. When I don’t lick it off, it stays on for more than 8 hours on me. It leaves a stain behind which is very pretty. But stubborn.

What I LIKE about MAC IMPASSIONED lipstick:-

• Bright pink.
• Buttery smooth texture.
• Glides beautifully.
• Incredibly pigmented.
• Brightens up your look.
• Doesn’t feel drying on lips.
• Doesn’t settle on fine lines.
• Doesn’t highlight patches.
• Awesome staying power.

What I don’t Like about MAC IMPASSIONED lipstick:-

• Unavailability.
• Pricey.
• Leaves a stain which is hard to remove too.

Final thoughts:-

Impassioned is a fun color to wear. It is bold and beautiful. This is one of my go-to lip colors for neutral lips. It is creamy, smooth, have a beautiful color payoff and the longevity is amazing too.  Definitely worth the purchase…!!! So if you want to add a unique pink/coral colour to your collection -this is your girl.
