Hello
everyone,
We all know
how important it is to use face scrubs. Our skin goes through a lot of abuse
throughout the day. Cleansing and moisturising skin is basic, but scrubbing
your skin at least twice a week will take your skin to a different level. Scrub
helps the skin to remove the dead skin cells giving you soft and healthy
looking skin.
Today I’ll
be reviewing a face scrub from the house of VLCC which claims to remove tan,
pigmentation and blackheads while simultaneously nourishing and protecting the
skin. Let us see if it could live up to its claim or not…
Company claim, Direction for use and Ingredient list:-
Price:
220 INR for 80g
Packaging:-
The product comes in
transparent squeeze tubes with white flip top caps. Sturdy and travel-friendly.
Texture and Consistency:-
It's a cream with
small granules. The consistency is neither very thick nor runny; just perfect. Some
may find the granules a little too abrasive and sharp (if that makes sense),
but to me they are pretty perfect and not at all discomforting.
My experience with VLCC Skin Defense Indian Berberry Face Scrub:-
Well, I love
this scrub. I have nagging blackheads and ever since I am using this, my
blackheads stay at bay. I use it twice a week and that’s enough. The granules exfoliate
effectively skin without being too harsh. The scrub leaves my skin feeling soft
and smooth; and also imparts a glow on face. Skin looks healthy and refreshed. It
has a fruity fragrance that doesn’t disturb my sensitive nose either. Another
thing I love about this scrub is that it is extremely moisturising; so no
stretchy or flaky skin. It’s a boon for people with dry skin.
Summing up LIKES and DISLIKES:-
What I Liked about VLCC Skin Defense Indian Berberry Face Scrub:-
Gently exfoliates
skin
Moisturising
Smooth and
soft skin within 2-3 minutes
Removes blackheads
effectively
Imparts a
glow
Skin looks
fresh and radiant
Fruity fragrance
Didn’t break
me out.
Contains
natural ingredients.
Travel friendly
packaging
Easily
available.
What I did not LIKE about VLCC Skin Defense Indian Berberry Face
Scrub:-
The granules
are small, but a little on the sharper side; so it might hurt your skin if not
used gently.
Final Thoughts:-
This is a great product; I have used it before as well and I see myself buying it
again. It does its job pretty effectively. Rejuvenated, refreshed and moisturised
skin within a few minutes is what I look out for and this definitely does that.
I would recommend this to everyone who is struggling with blackheads and rough
skin.
Rating:-
5/5 J
