New NIVEA Body Deodorizer Fresh Citrus & Care Review

Hello everyone,

Today I am here with the review of the newly launched NIVEA Body Deodorizer Fresh Citrus & Care. I love NIVEA products when it comes to everyday deodorants and NIVEA Whitening Roll On is my love. Nivea products are easy on pocket and works pretty nicely. So when they launched this new range, I couldn’t stop myself from getting one.

What NIVEA claims:-
Day long odour control and confidence, with just 1 use.
NEW NIVEA® Body Deodorizer Fresh Citrus & care with its gas-free deodorizing formula and refreshing scent, helps prevent the formation of body odour for up to 24 hours so you don't need to reapply throughout the day.
The skin-friendly formula enriched with Provitamin B5 is gentle and gives a nourished and hydrated skin feeling while the fresh citrus scent with a floral twist keeps you fresh & confident all day long.

Price:-
INR 250 for 120ml. You can get it for INR 225 from Nykaa.

Packaging:-
A cute and feminine curvy bottle that comes in a pull out carton. The spray pump is of decent quality and sprits the right quantity.

Fragrance:-

When it comes to choosing deodorants and perfumes, I become very sceptical, especially about the fragrance.  I detest heavy perfumes. This one mainly has a zesty citrusy fragrance with lower floral notes which doesn’t at all disturb my sensitive nose. It is very pleasing.

Performance:-
Nivea claims it to be a NO GAS deodorizer and it is true; it is a perfume liquid or liquid spray whatever you call it. It takes a little time to get completely dry or absorb into your skin. It doesn’t sting or irritate skin. Coming to the staying power, this gentle fragrance lingers for only about 4-5 hours on me. This is disappointing because the other NIVEA deodorants I have used have longer staying powers. The roll on is amazing, it keeps me fresh for the entire day. So of I compare this with NIVEA’s other deos, this one is a disappointment. Note that I don’t even sweat a lot.

• Mild, light and delightful fragrance.
• Doesn’t disturb sensitive noses.
• Gas free.
• Non allergic and skin-friendly.
• Cute, feminine package.
• Easy to use spray dispenser.
• Easily available.     
• Affordable.

What I Don’t LIKE about NEW NIVEA® Body Deodorizer Fresh Citrus & care:

• I wish it stayed longer.
• Contains alcohol

FINAL THOUGHTS:-

I have a soft corner for citrusy fragrances and I so love the clean, zesty fragrance of this deodorizer. It's fresh, pretty, light, delicate and nice. It is such a perfect perfume for the hot, sultry days. However, taking in account the false day long body odour control, the ingredient and the steeper price tag, I will be happy to have my regular roll on deodorant by my side instead of this one.
