ColourPop Mittens Super Shock Shadow Review & Swatches

Hello everyone,

I am here today with a review of my first ever Colorpop eye shadow. I have been hearing so much about their Super Shock Eye Shadows and have finally got a chance to try a few shades from the range.

I am a brown eye shadow lover. Brown eye shadow is very versatile and I feel it is a must have shade in our kitty. So, I ordered “Mittens” from the range.
I have been playing with this shade for quite sometime now and guess it is the right time to share my thoughts..

What Colorpop says:-

Packaging:-
The eye shadows come safely enclosed in round shaped cases with screw lids. Lightweight and compact. The transparent lids make it easy to detect the actual shades inside.

Shade:-
A matte plumy brown, as warm as your cosiest pair. I ordered this thinking it to be a basic brown. But I was wrong, but I couldn’t be happier. This is such an amazing and unique shade of brown. I ended up loving it so much more.

Texture:-
The thing I love most about this eye shadow is its texture. The texture is bouncy, kind of spongy and has a cushiony soft feel. The powder-gel kind of formula is super soft, smooth, feels light as air and blends like a dream. And due to this unique formula, there are no fall outs.

Pigmentation:-
It is decently pigmented, but is easily buildable. So you can move from a sheer wash of color to a bolder one in seconds.

Staying Power:- 
Staying power is amazing too. It stays all day, no wearing off or creasing.

• Good color payoff.
• Stays long.
• Crease resistant.
• Cute and sturdy packaging.

What I don’t like about Colorpop Mittens Super Shock Shadow:-

• Non-availability in India.

Final Thoughts:-
This is one of the loveliest warm matte eye shadows and I feel should be a staple for any makeup lover. Wear it on your crease, on the outer V, all over your lid or just buff it on your lower lash line; it is so versatile.
