ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip in London Fog: Review, Swatches and LOTD

If you know me well, you ought to know that I am crazy red lipstick lover. Nothing really amps up my mood and boosts my confidence as much as a red lipstick does and I just can’t imagine myself without them.

Today, I am here with a review of a red lip cream from the house of Colourpop. Over the time, Colourpop has really impressed me as a makeup brand. So let us see if this lip cream helps me further swoon over Colourpop or not…

What Colorpop says:-
High pigmentation and a satin-matte finish in liquid lipstick form to keep your lips soft and comfy all day long.

Packaging:-

A cylindrical bottle with silver cap which has a doe-foot applicator attached inside. The doe foot applicator is of decent quality and applies the product easily and evenly.

Shade:-
A very beautiful and bright pinkish red; it depends on the light how much red or how much pink it will pull. It has this amazing neon like brightness to it, which I completely adore; looks absolutely breathtaking. This shade is such a mood-lifter and obviously, a head turner; people will notice and you will load you with compliments. You truly won't get lost in London’s fog in this pinkish red.

Texture and Finish:-

The texture is very soft, very creamy and glides on lips like magic. It takes around 2 minutes to settle into the gorgeous and incredibly comfortable matte finish.  Coming from the Ultra Satin range, the matte formula is so polished and non-drying; it neither settles into fine lines nor does it accentuate dry patches.

Color Payoff and Staying Power:-
Incredibly pigmented; goes gorgeously opaque in a single swipe. It stays for around 8 hours on me, with no need for touch ups, even after snacks and drinks. And then leaves a very pretty and stubborn stain behind; and it takes real effort to get the stain off lips. So it is advisable to go slowly and be careful to stay within the lines.

What I like about ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip in London Fog:-

• A strikingly beautiful pinkish red color.
• Soft, creamy texture.
• Lightweight formula.
• Non-sticky; non-gloppy.
• Keep lips soft and pillowy.
• Glides beautifully.
• Lips don’t feel dry.
• It doesn't bleed even if you don't use a lip liner.
• Insanely pigmented.
• A little is needed to get the desired coverage, so the product would last long.
• It covers pigmented lips beautifully.
• Amazing staying power.
• Works with so many skin tones.
• Nice travel friendly packaging.

What I don’t like about ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip in London Fog:-

• Non-availability in India.

Final Thoughts:-

It is a super gorgeous shade that dolls up my lips in plush and vibrant colour. Crazily pigmented, glides on and sets into a striking polished matte finish without leaving lips parched, stays super long and just $6. Colourpop London Fog is has started replacing high-end red lipsticks in my stash.



 I have got 5 from the ULTRA SATIN range and want to try their other shades as well. Absolute love <3
